1. How can V-Bux afford to give away free products?
V-Bux partners with well-known advertisers such as Pepsi, Bank of America, and Blockbuster who pay us for referring new customers like you and your friends to try their online offers. We, in turn, use a portion of the commissions received from our sponsors to purchase your gift. [TOP]
2. How do I get my free gift? What do I have to do?
It’s very simple and quite fun. First, you choose the gift you wish to receive for free from one of our websites (we have over twelve). Second, you try one of our pre-selected online offers, (most of them for free trial services). The third and final step is the most fun. You get your friends to select a reward and complete an offer through your referral link. The number of friends you need to sign up varies from gift to gift. In most cases it is between four and six. Despite what some people may think, this step is actually pretty easy, and usually only takes one hour total time! [TOP]

6. How long does it take before I receive credit for completing an offer?
It varies from offer to offer. For some offers, you will receive credit instantly. Some may take 2-3 days, while others may take 2-3 weeks. On the "Offers' Page," each offer's reporting time is provided. [TOP]
7. I did not get credit for my completed offer. What do I do?
Please allow 7-14 days for the credit to be applied to your account. On occasion our advertisers experience heavy traffic, and, as a result, they need to manually approve each transaction that failed to report/record instantly. [TOP]
8. What happens if one of my referrals gets banned or suspended?
Though extremely rare, should your referral be suspended/banned, you will not receive credit from him/her. You will have the opportunity to refer a replacement referral. Also, we allow users to appeal their suspensions. [TOP]
9. I found a bug, what do I do?

10. I do not want my account anymore. How do I close it?

14. Is V-Bux.com legit?

15. I have more referrals than my prize requires. Can I submit multiple orders from the same account?

16. I want my gift to go somewhere else! Can you do this?
Unfortunately, this is one of the few requests that we cannot accomodate. As a fraud prevention measure, we do not ship gifts to any address other than the one you used to create your account. [TOP]
17. Where is my tracking number?

18. When do you approve accounts and ship gifts?
We ship gifts and approve accounts daily (even weekends). Superfast service comes standard. [TOP]
19. What’s the deal with V-Bux and taxes? I’ve heard rumors that I might need to submit some tax-related form.
Great question! In legal terms, your free gift is considered a form of payment or compensation given to you by V-Bux. In the USA, citizens who make an excess of $600 from one business entity are required to report their earnings to the IRS. The business that paid the citizen also has to submit paperwork.
After you complete the requirements on a V-Bux website, if your gift exceeds $600, a V-Bux representative will contact you. If you are a USA citizen, you will be asked to fill out a W-9 form. If you are not a USA citizen, you be asked to fill out a W-8 form. (These are documents issued by the USA government to track an individual's earnings)
Once these forms have been filled out, we will send you your free prize!
In January, we will send all USA users who have earned a gift in excess of $600 a 1099 document. Users will then use this when they report their earnings to the government. [TOP]
20. What is a W-9 form, and what is a W-8 form?
USA citizens who earn a gift that is in excess of $600 must fill out a W-9 form, while international members must fill out a W-8 form. [TOP]
21. I am not from the USA, is there anything I am still required to do that is tax-related?
Yes. If you earn a prize that exceeds $600 in value, you will have to fill out a W-8 form. [TOP]
